A Lahore BASED Leading FMCG is ardently seeking for committed and dexterous Assistant Manager-Transportation/Logistics for managing the execution, direction, and coordination of all transportation matters within the organization.
Job Qualification:
• Graduation/ Masters from a recognized and reputed university with at least 5 years of experience in management of company operations or fleet management/Logistics.
• Hands on experience in well versed logistics company
Job Location: Gajjumatta, Lahore
Job Requirements:
• Develop effective mechanisms to monitor and formulate solutions for transportation routes.
• Coordinate with departments both external and internal for transport policies and implementation
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
• Strategically plan and manage transportation, organizing schedules and routes, ensuring that vehicles are safe and meet legal requirements, and making sure that drivers are aware of their duties.
• Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers
• Keep track of quality, delivery times, transport efficiency
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints
• Meet productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.
Desired Skills:
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills Verbal & Written will be plus should have sound knowledge of MS office spread sheet etc.
